The Fur Ball Gala is an annual fundraiser event hosted by the Animal Defense League of Texas.

Featured here are the branding materials I designed for ADL’s 85th anniversary gala. I created charming characters – a dancing cat and dog duo. These characters were used on the cover of the invitation and incorporated in all other marketing materials for the event. I also had the opportunity to design the metal sculptures that were placed as table centerpieces, they were later gifted to donors as a token of appreciation.

Additionally, I was the event photographer, showcased here are some of the photos I captured at the event.

The Roosevelt Fund Campaign was established to commemorate the life of Roosevelt, a stray dog discovered on the streets of San Antonio and brought to the Animal Defense League of Texas (ADL). This campaign's funds were allocated to support the most critical medical cases of stray animals rescued and brought to ADL.

For this campaign, I created a special illustration in honor of Roosevelt, which was featured on the campaign mailer. We showcased two successful medical cases that the marketing team and I carefully documented, from the animals' initial arrival at ADL through their adoption. I had the privilege of photographing these animals throughout their journey.

I used Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to design the print mailer. We also showcased these medical stories on social media, the website, and in e-blasts. The mailer received a positive response from supporters.

These are examples of some of the design projects I created at the Animal Defense League of Texas (ADL). I incorporated custom illustrated characters, and photography to design these marketing materials for the organization.

This collection of pet photos are some of my favorites captured during my time working at the Animal Defense League of Texas. I had the opportunity to take pet portraits that were utilized for fundraising campaigns, and to generate interest in these adoptable pets looking for homes.

This auction catalog was designed for the Texas author, Larry McMurtry estate auction. I designed the page layout for this 60-page catalog using Adobe InDesign. The main cover was a composite of three photographs, to create a branded visual brand unique to this auction. I also provided art direction on some of the photographs to use specifically for this catalog.

This poster is based on the Bret Anthony Johnston's book Corpus Christi: Stories. The motel sign symbolizes the feeling of isolation and loneliness expressed in each stories. The hotel sign and type were hand-drawn and manipulated in Photoshop.

Website and character design for Elformo.com

Designed a simple site incorporating the lucha libre character. The website design included a signup and login forms.

Graphics for marketing materials. 

The "Please Recycle" sticker was designed to express the companies support for recycling.

The "Vote" web graphics were designed for their website. Icons were created playing off the 2008 Presidential Election and to encourage visitors on their website to vote for the next new tea flavor. 

Bandana was designed to incorporate the branding of the company. It was a promotional item handed out at the ACL festival in Austin, TX.
